- You’ll also find a guide for installing your mods at the end.
As a frustrated architect who realized she didn’t have the patience for drawing plates, the Sims 4 is a godsent game that lets me make cute little builds without having to go back to school. Many Sims fans use the game’s life sim capabilities to fulfill their wildest dreams in a similar fashion. But some Simmers really take the wildest part of ‘wildest dreams’ seriously.
Enter Loverslab, a website for NSFW mods and custom content for games such as Skyrim, Fallout, and the Sims. While all of these are popular franchises, it’s the Sims 4 side of Loverslab that takes the crown as the most scandalous. The site has everything from the (in)famous Wicked Whims sex mod to niche mods like Nisa’s Wicked Perversions. On top of that, there’s a wide selection of, ahem, fetish-themed custom content and animations that you can use in your game.
In short, Loverslab is the sex mod mecca of the Sims community so you can really spice up your save files with it. That said, there’s just so much on the site that it can be hard to decide where to start so here’s a full guide to Loverslab, the most essential mods that you can get, and a guide to installing mods in the Sims 4 if you’ve never done that before.
What Is Loverslab and What’s It For?
Loverslab is a third-party source of content for the Sims 4 where users can browse and download NSFW mods and custom content. To be clear, the site doesn’t make the content itself but instead plays host to content uploaded by modders and CC creators. Think of it as the Pornhub version of The Sims Resource.
To use it, you have to set up an account and confirm that you’re over 18. As usual, this is really just a formality because it’s not like anyone is going to ask for your ID. Once you’ve confirmed your email account, you’ll be free to explore the strange yet interesting world of Sims 4 fetish mods.
And I really do mean fetish mods. While the site hosts plenty of, shall we say, mainstream content, it doesn’t take a lot of clicking to run into content that you might find off-putting. A word of warning: There are non-consensual and even pedophilic mods on the site. I know, I know, I didn’t put it there. I’m just letting you know so you can be ready if you decide to have a look.
If you can look past that, you’ll find that Loverslab’s collection of saucy Sims 4 mods can actually enhance your gameplay. Plenty of mods incorporate both romantic and sexual attraction systems and settings that can really flesh out your sims’ relationships with each other.
Plus, if wholesome gameplay isn’t your thing, you can stir up a lot more drama with a Loverslab mod. Mods like Wicked Whims can work together with Basemental Drugs and smaller mods, allowing players to put together the most debauched and unhinged storylines in their games.
Loverslab Mods and Custom Content We Recommend
Loverslab mods can be broken down into mods, custom content, and animations. Mods allow you to add gameplay features to the Sims 4 while custom content adds objects to the game such as clothing, furniture, hair, and consumable items.
Lastly, you have animations that work together with mods so that your sims look like they’re actually going through the process of whatever you command them to do in the mod. These animations are used heavily in NSFW mods since there aren’t any available animations in the game that can be used for interactions.
1. Wicked Whims
Wicked Whims is the Windows of the Sims NSFW world. All of the other NSFW mods either run together with a feature of it or are, at the very least, designed to work with it. It’s undeniably one of the most comprehensive mods in the Sims 4 in general and is right up there with MC Command Center in terms of how much it improves your experience of the game.
Wicked Whims is mostly known for its sexy features, but it also has a fertility and attraction system built into it. The attraction system gives a bit more meat to your sims’ romantic interactions outside of just spamming ‘Romance’ options. The fertility controls come with menstrual cycles and settings for birth control use so WooHooing doesn’t put your sim at risk of conceiving.
If there’s one NSFW mod for the Sims 4 that you have to get from Loverslab, it is hands down this mod. Aside from its great standalone features, it works seamlessly together with the Basemental Drugs mod that, among other features, allows your sims to get drunk. The mod is also the backbone of the next mod on this list.
2. Nisa’s Wicked Perversions
Downloading the Wicked Whims and Basemental Drugs mods gives you access to the Nisa’s Wicked Perversions mod. I say access because this mod won’t work at all if you don’t have Wicked Whims at the very least. Now, Nisa’s Wicked Perversions is where things start to get really questionable. The mod has sex work features that let you pimp out your sim and comes with traits that turn your sim from a regular person to a nymphomaniac with desires outside of the carnal sort.
Nisa’s Wicked Perversions also has a Daughters/Sons of the Easter Hare trait that turns your sims into egg-laying sex fiends. Oh, and the eggs are hallucinogenic so you can make your sim eat their own eggs.
3. Anarcis’ Animations
Of course, we can’t forget the animations. While many Loverslab NSFW mods pretty much require Wicked Whims to work, the Wicked Whims mod itself needs animations to play during sexual interactions or it will just give you an error code.
The thing about animations, though, is that many of them have become outdated and are no longer compatible with the game. Anarcis’ animations are among the few that are polished and get regular updates from their creator.
Downloading Anarcis’ Animations will add sex interactions to Wicked Whims’ Turbodriver that support both couples and multiple partners. The animations also come with options for same-sex interactions.
4. Yummy-O-Tummy Animations
What if your sims did the dirty on a motorcycle? Yummy-O-Tummy Animations has you covered with its motorcycle sex interactions for both MF and MM couples which was added back in February 2022. The mod’s appeal is in the details as Yummy-O-Tummy pays a lot of attention to bringing out the sensual side of the Sims 4.
5. 18th Century Prints “I Modi” by Agostino Carracci
Life imitates art and vice versa. For my fellow history-themed save file enjoyers, this set of paintings based on “The Ways” a.k.a “The Sixteen Pleasures” by Italian printmaker Agostino Carraci is the salacious wall decor item for you.
This custom content set repurposes the frame of a painting that’s already in the game and slaps some rather scandalous images on top of it. The depictions are very detailed so you don’t have to zoom into your Sim’s wall just to see it.
Game of Thrones-themed brothel build, anyone?
How to Install Your Loverslab Mods in the Sims 4
Before you can install any of these mods, you need to sign up for Loverslab to get access to the download buttons. All it takes is an email address, a username, a password, and confirming said email address. After that, you can start downloading your mods.
If you’re installing animations mod like Wicked Whims, take these steps:
- Download the mod.
- Unzip it.
- Move the folder into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods.
Make sure your script files for the mod are directly pasted to the Mods folder, not inside a folder within that folder or it may not run.
The same goes for installing animations. Again, paste it directly into the mods folder. You may be tempted to organize your animations, but that risks having some animations not show up in the game.
Custom content installation works the same except you can put your custom content files inside a folder within the Mods folder to keep things organized.
