Just in case you’re tired of searching for where every planet is and what system they’re in (like I was), here’s a list of points of interest for Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader. It’s not an exhaustive list as it only goes over major points that you don’t want to miss or that you might have trouble finding.
Many of the quests overlap, so if you’re going to do related quests together, rest assured that you’ll be able to do so with this guide. We definitely missed a few things, so if there are important ones you’d like to add (especially if your playthrough was different), please comment below so we can add them to the list.

Furibundus
The Furibundus System is located in the far south of the map.
- You’ll find Footfall inside the Furibundus system.
- In Footfall, you will meet Liege Tocara and Jae Heydari. Follow the main quest to trigger the ‘Persona Non Grata’ quest that leads you to Jae Heydari’s recruitment.
- If you want to keep Sister Argenta, continue to help her in the ‘Astray’ quest.
Dargonus
Dargonus is located in Mundus Valancius, far north of Furibundus. Dargonus is the capital of the Von Valancius protectorate and is one of the key locations for the ‘Reclaim What Was Lost’ main quest.
- The Von Valancius Palace can be found in Dargonus. The ‘Spiders in a Jar’ quest and the ‘Reclaim What Was Lost’ Dargonus objective can be completed here. An important quest, ‘Blades in the Void’, will conclude on Dargonus.

- Governor Vyatt’s Estate is where you will meet Yrliet.
- The Rebel Base is where you will find the rebels and Aeldari who are involved in the conflict on Janus.
Kiava Gamma
Kiava Gamma is located in Cranach, near ‘The Emperor’s Scourge’.
- The Manofactorum can be found in Kiava Gamma. This is the location for the ‘Flame in the Dark’ quest, one of the hidden data caches for the ‘Classified Information’ quest, and the ‘Secrets of the Cult’ companion quest.
Vheabos VI
Vheabos VI is the planet where the ‘Blades in the Dark’ main quest starts. You can find it in Mortucs Acies. The quest ends in Dargonus, just before your Magno Ascencio.
Chapter 3 Planet and System Locations for Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader

Chapter 3 quest locations for Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader are mostly located in Commoragh and since we’re trapped there, it’s not likely for you to get lost in the area. That said, you still need to trigger the chapter and navigate through the hellscape that is Commoragh, so here are the locations for this chapter of the game.

By the way!
Did you know we’re launching a Kickstarter campaign? In the next few months, our campaign for ‘Gentle Jack: The Party Game for Bad Friends‘ goes live! Visit the official website or follow the Kickstarter page to stay in the loop.

Chapter 4 Planet and System Locations for Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader

After a very contained experience in Commoragh, we finally return to the stars in Chapter 4 for the rest of Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader. We’re re-treading familiar ground here as we return to Dargonus and Footfall.
- The ‘Blood Ties’ companion quest for Abelard takes place in the Von Valancius Palace.

- Epitaph is the key location for the Chapter 5 main quest ‘To Walk Bravely First Into Darkness’. If you go to the ‘galaxy’ map for the area, it’s in the last system to the west of the map.
- On your way, explore the planets in the first few systems to finish Marazhai’s companion quests ‘Shards of the Tempest’ and ‘Runaway’.
