Power damage missions in Tacticus are pretty easy to complete and can be done relatively quicklyโif you have the right characters. Unlike Heavy Round damage missions, you probably have a handful of characters that you can use to complete it.
Depending on how much Power damage is required, it may take a while to complete, but there are a few ways you can speed it up. Hereโs a quick rundown of the characters that deal Power damage, how to get them if you donโt have them, and how to quickly complete Power damage missions in Tacticus.
Characters That Deal Power Damage in Tacticus
Thereโs no shortage of characters that deal Power damage in Tacticus. Youโll almost certainly have a few of them on the list if youโve opened some requisition scrolls. If you donโt have any, you could check and see if there are any Tacticus promo codes with free requisitions.
There are 19 total characters that deal Power damage with their melee attack, 3 that deal Power damage with their abilities, and 2 that deal Power damage through their summons. Angrax, Maladus, Celestine, and Ulf are some of the best Power damage dealers in Tacticus. Most players should have access to Angrax and Maladus, but if you donโt, any of the characters on the list are still a good choice; it will just take longer. Angrax is great because all of his abilities and attacks deal Power damage, which is the same for Celestine and Ulf (besides Ulfโs active).
How To Get Characters That Deal Power Damage
You can either buy some of these characters from the store with cash, farm their shards in different campaigns, or unlock them through requisition scrolls. Celestine can be farmed in the Fall of Cadia campaign while the Black Templars (Ancient Thoread, Brother Burchard, Sword Brother Godswyl, Brother Jaeger, and High Marshal Helbrecht) can be farmed in the Octarius campaign.
One of the best tips we can give new players is to only ever open requisition scrolls 10 at a time. Opening them this way guarantees you a character, but can take longer than just opening them 1 at a time. The statistics donโt lie, though, so if you can resist the temptation of opening your scrolls and waiting till you have 10, youโll be better off in the long run. You arenโt guaranteed a new character, but youโre more likely to get a character you donโt have than if you just opened up your scrolls willy-nilly.
Grinding Out Power Damage Missions in Tacticus
Okay, youโve got your Power damage character, but now you need a place to grind out the damage. Well, there are a few ways you can do it. A full arena line-up of Power damage characters is an easy way to deal thousands of points of damage with a single token. Just be sure youโre not going to lose every match since Arena awards can be pretty useful, and itโll help you complete the Battle Pass faster.
You can also take Angrax into Onslaught and put him next to the spot where the enemies spawn. As they spawn in, his passive will trigger, and he will immediately attack them. Oftentimes, this is enough to kill the units, helping you quickly complete your Onslaught while also completing the Power damage mission.
If you have Ulf, take him into an Octarius mirror mission with grots. As the grots spawn in more grots next to him, he will immediately whack them, thanks to his passive, and deal Power damage. This is a near-endless supply of grots if you play it right.
Yarrick can be used along with Incicus or Isabella on Indomitus 71 to constantly melee Scarabs. Simply clear the level out of every enemy besides the Scarabs, put your characters into a corner, and use Yarrickโs melee to kill the Scarabs next to him. Put Incicus or Isabella behind him and keep him healed.
