Yes, Phasmophobia is cross-platform. PC players will be able to play with console players once it is fully released and out of early access. It should operate seamlessly, with no real issues, as the game is fairly simplistic in nature. Does Phasmophobia save progress across platforms?

The unfortunate truth is, no, Phas does not save progress across platforms. This means that your account on PC will not transfer over to the PS5 or Xbox consoles. If you plan on playing on one of the other platforms, you will have to start from scratch. Progress is account-specific, meaning that your progress on PC is saved to that platform, but progress on the Xbox Series X can easily transfer to the Xbox S since both are considered the same platform. 

There’s really not too much else to say about the cross-platform capabilities of Phasmophobia. You will be able to play with your friends regardless of what platform they are playing Phas on; just don’t expect your progress to transfer from platform to platform. You might have to wait for the final release of Phas on console before you can play with your friends, but that shouldn’t be too far away now.
