- For a franchise that’s decidedly wholesome, the existence of the Sims 4 extreme violence mod feels pretty out of place.

The last thing you’d expect from a family-friendly game is a mod that’s literally called the “Extreme Violence Mod.”
Electronic Arts’ famous life simulation franchise, the Sims, is known for two things: family-centered gameplay and a detailed build and buy mode. That’s how you get the two biggest categories of Sims players: builders and people who actually play the life simulation part of the game.
That said, both groups share constructive interests in the game that are focused on either building houses or creating families.
So, where does the Sims 4 Extreme Violence Mod fit in?
What Is the Sims 4 Extreme Violence Mod?
The Sims 4 Extreme Violence Mod is one of the game’s most popular mods. But to say that it’s different from the rest of the Sims 4 mods is an understatement. The life simulation game usually has more wholesome mods in the spotlight.
Aside from the user interface upgrade that is the MC Command Center mod, another typical favorite of fans of The Sims 4 is KawaiiStacie’s Slice of Life mod, which adds the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator’s sixteen personality types to the game, as well as more day to day interactions like giving your Sims a facemask.
In the far corner of the ring? Sacrificial’s Extreme Violence Mod, Wicked Whims, and Basemental Drugs. The first mod lets your Sims murder each other in increasingly creative ways.
Whether you’re into pretend cartel guns or creating your own private remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the Sims 4 Extreme Violence mod lets you kill to your heart’s content.
There’s even a feature of this mod that lets you use toddlers to kill adult sims. Nuts, I know, but undeniably fun for a lot of players. Add to that the drugs of the Basemental Drugs mod and the unscrupulous fornication that the Wicked Whims mod supports and you have a truly deprived playthrough.
These three mods are practically the unholy trifecta of Sims YouTuber hell.
“If I’m murdering people, I can’t be restricted in my clothing,” Jesse McNamara, better known online as Plumbella, tells her audience as she gears up to send a Sims version of herself to murder the rest of the world’s Sims.
Though the mod is completely not safe for work, videos of YouTubers playing their copies of the game with this mod still rack up views in the thousands. There’s definitely an appeal to it, especially seeing as the creator of the mod, Ahmed Qoqas, makes bank by creating violence-themed mods along with maintaining the Extreme Violence Mod.
While there’s still a long way to go in psychology’s study of why we seem to enjoy violence, few can deny the appeal of being able to do what would normally be illegal or taboo in a safe, controlled environment.
After all, even if you make a toddler sim murder its parents, no one’s really getting hurt or traumatized. It’s kind of like The Purge but without the morning after guilt.
But the Sims 4 Extreme Violence mod isn’t all just murderous toddlers and digital guns. Get a little creative and you’ll find that you can recreate iconic movie death and fight scenes in this game.
Here are some of the most depraved things you can try out in the game with the Extreme Violence mod.
The Many Horrors You Can Commit With the Sims 4 Extreme Violence Mod
That’s her, officer. That’s the criminal-to-be. Louise Leigh is guilty of, among other things, participating in the Black Widow challenge, trapping Nancy Landgraab in a basement until she starved to death, and having a name that’s a flick away from violating intellectual property laws.
My darling Louise is a ladylike debutante during the day seeing as she’s currently in a Regency-era style Legacy challenge. But sending Louise out to dreamy balls in castles was starting to get boring. No amount of Wicked Whims modding was going to turn this into a spicier Sims version of Bridgerton.
It was time to take things up a notch with the Sims 4 Extreme Violence mod.
When you go to Sacrificial’s website, you’ll find a page dedicated to listing the features of the Extreme Violence Mod. While it’s clearly not obvious in this article that I have any brain cells, I could definitely feel my last one sparking to life with each feature the website listed off.
Take a Sim Hostage
Become the millionaire you always dreamed of being with the Sims 4 Extreme Violence Mod! Sacrificial’s completely off the rails violence mod lets your sim of choice hold other lesser sims hostage.
Forget using the “motherlode” or “rosebud” cheats. The true path to Sims 4 wealth is to install this mod and take advantage of its hostage-taking interaction.
The first thing on the agenda of a Legacy challenge is to build a family fortune. This means that my Founder sim, Louise Leigh, had to make a killing by making a literal killing. What better way to do this than to infiltrate the Goth family, murder Mortimer, and take Cassandra Goth as a hostage. I won’t lie, it was mildly thrilling watching Alexander Goth panic while his sister cries her head off.
The Goth family heir started showering Louise with more money than a stripper at a stag party. After that, we used MC Command Center to force him to marry Louise, making him the new hostage.
Create a Murder Holiday
It could not end there. The next thing to try out on the Sims 4’s Extreme Violence Mod was the murder holiday that Sacrificial promised.
Have you ever tried modding a Sims 4 game to have a gaggle of female sims in Victorian ball gowns stab other ball goers to death? I have and I don’t recommend it. The amount of clipping and whatever else happened to my poor integrated graphics was too much for the game to bear. It crashed and forced me to redownload all 40 gigabytes of the game.
Still, the memories of a blood-filled ballroom will forever warm my cold, dead heart.
Go Full Goth
Speaking of hearts, have I mentioned you can rip someone’s heart out with the Sims 4 Extreme Violence Mod?
I initially sent Louise out to kill some random joggers who were wearing modern clothes in my not-so-historically-accurate playthrough. But as she lay there, snuggled up next to her utterly terrified husband Alexander Goth, I knew what I had to do. Threat of force and retaliation aside, this man had promised to love Louise Leigh with all his heart at the altar, in front of the cruel Sims deity (me) no less.
It was time he lived up to his promise.
I left Alexander and Louise to woohoo one last time before their great farewell. As I went into the “Deadly Interactions” menu, I saw Louise take one last longing look at the man who she’s terrorized for most of her life.
Then I made Louise rip his heart out.
Now in possession of a Goth’s heart, Louise had no choice but to bring the theme full circle. We built a basement under the living room of the Goth house and placed Alexander’s heart on a table, surrounded by flowers and candles.
I gave Louise the paranoid trait in Create-A-Sim and left her to walk in circles over the floorboards under which her husband’s heart beat incessantly, knocking at the door of her guilty conscience.
Commit Suicide
It was too much for Louise.
Even a sim as evil as her could only handle so much. Though I created her to be the scourge of all Simsdom, she remained as much a sim as any and the years she spent with Alexander Goth had made her soft.
Louise was torn up about it. She’d been in the Goth house for days, still dirty from not having washed off the blood from the heart tearing interaction she had with Alexander. As she sat there, eating her Mac and Cheese, I understood that I had to give her release.
Using the same Sims 4 Extreme Violence mod that had brought her to the height of luxury, I ordered Louise Leigh to commit suicide.
The widowed sim washed her bowl and entered her bedroom, the one she used to share with Alexander, and stabbed herself with a knife. Once she passed, I placed her heart beneath the floorboards, forever laying in rest with her beloved.
As I exited their household, I had only one thought: It was time to create a new family to put through hell using the Sims 4 Extreme Violence mod.

The Screenshots are not from Sims! 0/10 Lame Guide!
Hi Qwe! Some of the photos are not from the Sims, however the in-game screenshots are. Try checking whether you’re running the Sims 4, have expansion packs, or have the mod installed. That might explain why your game looks different.
Seriously dude? Lol
I downloaded this mod to get some spice in my game. I wish I had not. A murder here and there is one thing, especially if you can control it. But when it seems like a default and always having to keep your doors locked (because random Sims will just invite themselves in posing as harmless and then murder someone in your household for no reason), and going places where people will just kill someone on a whim… yeah, no thank you. I actually like certain Sims and didn’t realize that my favorites would be on a default chopping block. If you guys who don’t mind murderous rampages against anyone, including your faves, by all means, this is an interesting mod. If you have favorites and storylines going on, I’d advise against this mod. You have settings, but with mod-created Sims who are meant to kill and come with the mod itself, they are your own worst enemy and you feel like there is no controlling what happens. One thing you do get to do with this mod is to create more rapport with the Grim Reaper. But who wants to be friends with Death? There were parts that nearly scared me “simless”.
