The Genshin Impact 4.0 update introduced Travelers to its newest region, Fontaine. It’s accompanied by an array of fresh content including events, world quests, game mechanics, characters, artifacts, and craftable weapons. For low-spenders or dedicated free-to-play accounts, craftable weapons are a godsend since the weapon banners are known for being a big resource sink that often leaves players feeling scammed.
Genshin Impact‘s craftable weapons often align with the thematic elements of the nation they belong to and have distinct mechanics tied to their set. While it shouldn’t come as a surprise that these weapons would perfectly fit Fontaine characters, perhaps older characters might find some use for them as well.
Let’s take a quick dip into the new craftable weapons: where to find them, what they can do, and who could use them best. While we have our own recommendations, we leave the final judgment to you.
Where to Find the New Craftable Weapons

Unlike the last two nations of Sumeru and Inazuma where the weapon blueprints are locked behind world quests and hidden puzzles, you can easily obtain these weapon diagrams through Fontaine’s Smithy.
To get there, you simply have to head below the Statue of Seven in the Court of Fontaine. There you will find Estelle, Boss of the Beaumont Workshop.

Talk to Estelle and pick the “I’d like to buy a weapon.” option. This should open up her shop menu for weapon blueprints. The cost for the blueprints is quite unique though.

Here’s the shop menu for the blueprints.

For your advanced preparation, we suggest gathering these unique items found in Fontaine. This will allow you to purchase all the blueprints in one go.

The Weapons and Their Possible Users
Finale of the Deep (Sword)

- Base ATK: 44 – 565
- Secondary Stat: ATK (6% – 27.6%)
When using an Elemental Skill, ATK will be increased by 12~24% for 15s, and a Bond of Life worth 25% of Max HP will be granted. This effect can be triggered once every 10s. When the Bond of Life is cleared, a maximum of 150~300 ATK will be gained based on 2.4~4.8% of the total amount of the Life Bond cleared, lasting for 15s.

By the way!
Did you know we’re launching a Kickstarter campaign? In the next few months, our campaign for ‘Gentle Jack: The Party Game for Bad Friends‘ goes live! Visit the official website or follow the Kickstarter page to stay in the loop.
- Lynette: All of her main damage scales from her ATK and The Finale of the Deep provides her a huge ATK stat stick. As a sub-DPS, Lynette’s main playstyle allows her to keep spamming her Elemental Skill and provide a constant weapon effect uptime. Plus, her self-healing will provide her with the full effect of the weapon.
- Hydro Traveler: Hydro Traveler’s abilities both scale with HP and ATK. With its Elemental Skill providing self-damage and self-healing, it will be easy to utilize the weapon’s full capabilities.
- Jean: Jean’s passive healing through Normal Attacks and her Elemental Burst both scale with ATK. With Jean’s short Elemental Burst cooldown and capability to constantly heal herself, it would be fairly easy to reach her and the weapon’s full potential.
- Qiqi: This little zombie’s massive healing powers also scales with her ATK. Although her Elemental Skill cooldowns are quite high and usually have a short time on-field, it shouldn’t pose a problem as you will quickly reach the weapon’s full power due to her already healing too much. If she wears the 4-piece Ocean Hued Clam artifact set, you might also easily reach its full capacity with the help of this weapon.
Song of Stillness (Bow)

- Base ATK: 42 – 510
- Secondary Stat: ATK (9% – 41.3%)
After the wielder is healed, they will deal 16~32% more DMG for 8s. This can be triggered even when the character is not on the field.
Synergizes with these characters:
- Lyney: With Lyney’s playstyle to remain on the field to deal massive damage, via his Charged Attacks, most players would pair him up with a shielder and a healer to keep him doing his thing safely. For that reason, he can easily use the Song of Stillness’ full effect.
- Fischl: In higher constellations, Fischl’s Elemental Burst heals her afterward. This easily procs the weapon’s full effect even when you switch her out of the field due to her playstyle.
- DPS Diona: Players who like challenges and off-meta builds would definitely like this weapon for a Charged Attack build on Diona. From a Free-to-Play perspective, with her Elemental Burst capability to heal, and on higher constellations reduce her Charged Attack wind up, the Song of Stillness would easily sound like a perfect weapon to have.
Flowing Purity (Catalyst)

- Base ATK: 44 – 565
- Secondary Stat: ATK (6% – 27.6%)
When using an Elemental Skill, All Elemental DMG Bonus will be increased by 8~16% for 15s, and a Bond of Life worth 24% of Max HP will be granted. This effect can be triggered once every 10s. When the Bond Of Life is cleared, every 1,000 HP cleared in the process will provide 2~4% All Elemental DMG Bonus, up to a maximum of 12~24%. This effect lasts 15s.
Synergizes with these characters:
- Yanfei: Her DPS capabilities lie in her Normal Attacks, Charged Attacks, and Elemental Skill combos. Flowing Purity provides Yanfei a boost in her ATK and overall Elemental DMG, which is easily triggered by her attack combos.
- Klee: Her Elemental Skill already has 2 charges with a cooldown. This easily keeps this weapon’s uptime, and due to her DPS nature, players pair her with shielders and healers to protect her precious existence, which in turn will easily reach this weapon’s full power.
- Wanderer: This man’s short Elemental Skill cooldown and hypercarry playstyle allow him to easily fully utilize the weapon’s effect, given that he is paired with a healer in his team.
Tidal Shadow (Claymore)

- Base ATK: 42 – 510
- Secondary Stat: ATK (9% – 41.3%)
After the wielder is healed, ATK will be increased by 24~48% for 8s. This can be triggered even when the character is not on the field.
Synergizes with these characters:
- Sayu: Same as Jean, Sayu’s healing scales with ATK. With her Elemental Burst that can constantly heal characters and her passive healing through swirl reactions, she can fully optimize the Tidal Shadows benefits.
- Dehya: Dehya both scale in ATK and HP for damage. Since she has a self-healing passive and her playstyle allows her to be off-field after using her Elemental Skill, she will easily reach this weapon’s full power.
- Noelle: Noelle can build ATK and DEF depending on her build and needs. Her Elemental Skill provides a strong shield and healing every time she hits an enemy. Although her healing mainly comes from her DEF, both of her damage scales with ATK and DEF.
- DPS Dori: Some players who enjoy off-meta and funny builds might enjoy this weapon for building Dori DPS. It can be Electro DPS or Physical DPS, all of her damage scales with ATK after all. Her kit allows her to heal any active character for a long time and on higher constellations, heal her whole team via Elemental Skill and landing her attacks. This means she can keep this weapon’s uptime optimized and its effects utilized.
Rightful Reward (Polearm)

- Base ATK: (44 – 565)
- Secondary Stat: HP (6% – 27.6%)
When the wielder is healed, restore 8~16 Energy. This effect can be triggered once every 10s, and can occur even when the character is not on the field.
Synergizes with these characters:
- Yaoyao: All of her abilities heal and it all scales with HP. While her Elemental Skill only heals the active character on the field, her Elemental Burst allows her to heal herself and stay on-field for a good amount of time. This makes Rightful Reward a perfect weapon choice as its effects may as well be considered as an Energy refund for activating her Burst.
- Mika: Same as Yaoyao, Mika’s Elemental Burst scales with HP. This weapon is actually one of his best weapons as it practically refunds Energy for casting Elemental Burst and its long persistent effect can trigger the weapon’s effect twice.
- Hu Tao: Hu Tao’s raw damage scales both on ATK and HP making this weapon not a bad choice for a Free-to-Play. Since her kit involves damaging herself and healing via Elemental Burst, this weapon’s effect helps her have a higher Burst uptime, increasing overall DPS.
