Best Artifact Set for Dehya

There are various ways to play Dehya, and her artifacts will vary depending on her role or how you want to play. Some play her as a Pyro-applier support or tank support, while others prefer her as a burst-DPS. With so many available choices, we picked the best artifact sets that she can use in any role.
Vourukashaโs Glow
The Vourukashaโs Glow artifact set grants the following effects:
- 2-Piece Set: HP +20%
- 4-Piece Set: Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG will be increased by 10%. After the equipping character takes DMG, the aforementioned DMG Bonus is increased by 80% for 5s. This effect increase can have 5 stacks. The duration of each stack is counted independently. These effects can be triggered even when the equipping character is not on the field.
Vourukashaโs Glow is easily the artifact set that is mostly tailored to her kit. It boosts both her HP and Elemental Skill damage. She also gets an additional DMG bonus when she takes damage, which synergizes perfectly with her kit.
Crimson Witch of Flames
The Crimson Witch of Flames artifact set grants the following effects:
- 2-Piece Set: Pyro DMG Bonus +15%
- 4-Piece Set: Increases Overloaded and Burning and Burgeon DMG by 40%. Increases Vaporize and Melt DMG by 15%. Using Elemental Skill increases the 2-Piece Set Bonus by 50% of its starting value for 10s. Max 3 stacks
One notable thing about Dehya is that she can consistently keep applying Pyro via her Elemental Skill even while off-field. This makes Crimson Witch of Flames one of the best artifact sets, as it amplifies not only her raw damage but also Pyro-based reactions for her team.
Artifact Stats to Prioritize
To unleash the Flame Maneโs fiery ferocity, prioritize these stats in her artifacts:
- Pyro DMG Bonus (Goblet)
- CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG (Circlet or substats)
- ATK%/HP%/Elemental Mastery (Sands or substats)
- Energy Recharge (substats)
Characters generally prefer to have a goblet artifact that matches their element for an easy yet significant increase in damage, so for Dehya, a Pyro Goblet is the way to go. Dehya would also like to deal critical amounts of damage, so strive to acquire at least a 1:2 ratio of CRIT Rate per CRIT DMG. If you manage to get a 65% CRIT Rate or higher, more CRIT DMG will always be welcome.
When it comes to sands, there are 3 different stats you can use depending on Dehyaโs role and play style. For a general build, an ATK% sands is preferable for raw damage. HP% is viable if you want to make use of her redirected damage and her skill’s HP scaling. You’ll ideally want to stack Elemental Mastery if you use her as a Pyro reaction support. Lastly, she wants to get some Energy Recharge on her substats to compensate for her Elemental Burst’s high energy cost.

Best Weapons for Dehya

As a mercenary, Dehya wouldnโt be complete without a trusty weapon and so weโve listed down the blades she would love to wield.
- Beacon of the Reed Sea (CRIT Rate) – After the character’s Elemental Skill hits an opponent, their ATK will be increased by 20% for 8s. After the character takes DMG, their ATK will be increased by 20% for 8s. The 2 aforementioned effects can be triggered even when the character is not on the field. Additionally, when not protected by a shield, the character’s Max HP will be increased by 32%.
It’s unsurprising that her best weapon is her signature weapon, Beacon of the Reed Sea, as it gives her all the stats she needs to perform at her best. It passively gives its wearer more ATK, a massive HP boost, and its weapon effect can proc even when off-field. Its secondary CRIT Rate stat makes it an even more worthwhile pick.
- Wolfโs Gravestone (ATK%) – Increases ATK by 20%. On hit, attacks against enemies with less than 30% HP increases all party members’ ATK by 40% for 12s. Can only occur once every 30s.
Wolfโs Gravestone is the best substitute if you donโt have her signature weapon. It’s got a hefty ATK% bonus for the wearer and an additional ATK buff to their allies when fighting weakened enemies. This fashionable weapon can also be obtained from the Standard Banner at any time.
- Skyward Pride (Energy Recharge) – Increases all DMG by 8%. After using an Elemental Burst, Normal, or Charged Attack, on hit, creates a vacuum blade that does 80% of ATK as DMG to enemies along its path. Lasts for 20s or 8 vacuum blades.
For players that want to focus on Dehya’s Burst, Skyward Pride is the best 5-Star weapon you can give her as it can provide her tons of Energy Recharge. Not only does it generally increase her overall damage, but its effect will also synergize with her ult, giving her more DPS during her Burst’s duration. Just like Wolf’s Gravestone, players can get it from the Standard Banner.
Budget Alternatives

A weapon is only as good as the one who wields it. Most of the time, players wouldnโt have 5-star weapons, and thatโs alright because these budget weapons can also be good on her, regardless of her role and playstyle.
- Serpentโs Spine (CRIT Rate) – Every 4s a character is on the field, they will deal 6~10% more DMG and take 3~2% more DMG. This effect has a maximum of 5 stacks and will not be reset if the character leaves the field but will be reduced by 1 stack when the character takes DMG.
While we did say itโs a budget weapon, you might swipe a little bit for this weapon as it is locked behind the battle pass. Despite that, Serpentโs Spine is regarded as one of the best 4-Star claymores in the game. It gives a significant increase in overall damage and a CRIT Rate substat, so building her would be so much easier. Additionally, the weaponโs effect does not lose stacks from Dehyaโs self-damage redirection ability from off-field.
- Akuoumaru (ATK%) – For every point of the entire party’s combined maximum Energy capacity, the Elemental Burst DMG of the character equipping this weapon is increased by 0.12%. A maximum of 40% increased Elemental Burst DMG can be achieved this way.
This is one of the highest ATK stat sticks for a 4-Star weapon, good for an all-around build, and it is one of her best budget alternatives for a Burst-DPS play style. Pair this weapon with a full Emblem of Severed Fate artifact set, and she’s good to go.
- Makhaira Aquamarine Elemental Mastery) – The following effect will trigger every 10s: The equipping character will gain 24% of their Elemental Mastery as bonus ATK for 12s, with nearby party members gaining 30% of this buff for the same duration. Multiple instances of this weapon can allow this buff to stack. This effect will still trigger even if the character is not on the field.
For a reaction-based build, this is Dehyaโs best choice for a weapon, especially if you decided to build her full Elemental Mastery in all artifacts. Not only does it give a lot of Elemental Mastery, but its conversion effect will compensate for her lack of ATK for every point of Elemental Mastery.
Dehyaโs Talent Priorities

Dehya has had to develop an interesting set of survival skills and fighting styles throughout her life as a desert mercenary. To truly see her prowess, prioritize leveling her talents in this order.
- Molten Inferno (Elemental Skill) – Dehya will unleash a Fiery Sanctum Field, dealing initial Pyro damage to surrounding enemies. When recast, Dehya will do a leaping attack, dealing more than the initial damage. When characters within the field damage an enemy, the field will perform a coordinated AoE Pyro attack that scales with Dehya’s ATK and HP, triggering every 2.5 seconds. Characters within the Field have their resistance to interruption increased, and if characters take damage within the field, Dehya will redirect a portion of the damage to herself. Maximize this first, as this is the bread and butter for Dehyaโs kit.
- Leonine Bite (Elemental Burst) – Dehya will cast aside her blade and automatically unleash a barrage of fiery fists upon her enemies, dealing continuous Pyro damage that scales with her HP and ATK. At the end of the duration, Dehya will perform a leaping attack and place down a Fiery Sanctum Field.
- Sandstorm Assault (Normal Attack) – Dehya will perform 4 consecutive strikes that deal physical damage. When held down, Dehya will perform continuous slashes while draining her stamina in the process. This also deals physical damage.
Dehyaโs Fiery Sanctum Field can only exist one at a time. Recasting her skill or completing her Burst will relocate the Fiery Sanctum Field, but it will not refresh its duration. Cast your Elemental Burst at the right time, when you can take advantage of the previous fieldโs benefits but have it summon a new field at the end of its duration. Dehya automatically punches during her Burst, but pressing your normal attack during this time will speed her up for more total punches, improving her Burstโs overall damage output. Dehya is quite durable despite the damage redirection in her kit, as her passive allows her to regenerate health once her 40% HP threshold is reached.
Dehya Team Comp

Dehya may not be the first choice for many specific roles in many teams but her kit makes interesting gameplay as a Pyro tank and Pyro applier/driver for many teams. Here are some of the best characters she can synergize with.
- Kokomi (Best healers and Hydro applier for Vaporize and Burgeon teams)
- Barbara (Budget healer and Hydro applier for Elemental Reactions)
- Dendro Traveler (F2P Dendro applier)
- Nahida (Best Dendro applier)
- Sucrose (Budget CC and gives Elemental Mastery boost)
- Kazuha (CC, can group up Dendro cores for Burgeon teams and damage amplification)
- Klee (Pyro Carry that needs resistance to interruption, and Dehya can serve as Pyro battery)
- Aloy (Cryo sub-DPS that can do continuous melt reactions)
With the addition of Dendro reactions to the game, Dehya is often used for Burgeon Teams as her skill easily ignites Dendro cores within a specific interval that allows more room for Dendro cores to occur before igniting. As long as you provide her the necessary build and investment, Dehya will be at your service, defeating enemies and keeping you from harm’s way throughout your journey in Genshin Impact.
