Alicia Keys
15-time Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys is preparing to go on her โKeys to the Summer Tour.โ The brief tour (June 28-August 2) will reach many states and have one show in Toronto, Canada.
With a circular stage providing a 360ยฐ experience, Keys said the shows are a โcelebration of freedom and self-liberation,โ and her enthusiasm to provide a magical experience for her audience is enough encouragement for fans to come out and see her.
With a powerhouse voice and pure pianist talent, Keys is a great artist to see if youโre looking for an artist that doesnโt need to rely on overproduced sounds or performances to put on a quality show.

Beyoncรฉ
One of the greatest live performers of her generation, Beyoncรฉ, aka โQueen Bey,โ began โThe Renaissance World Tourโ on May 10, 2023, in Stockholm, Sweden. The tour reaches North America and Europe, with over 57 shows, and will end September 26, 2023, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The show is in support of her seventh studio album, โRenaissance,โ and has R&B, pop, disco, dance, and house influences. Celebrating a club era pre-COVID-19, the album honors marginalized individuals who had a hand in 1970s Black dance music, and the lyrics focus on self-assurance and expression.
Beyoncรฉ is a standout performer, and with multiple extraordinary wardrobe changes and stage designs, including monumental sculptures, โThe Renaissance World Tourโ is an exceptional standard of what live performances are supposed to be.

Maggie Rogers
Though she wrapped up a North American tour recently, playing at New York Cityโs Radio City Music Hall, singer-songwriter and record producer Maggie Rogers is now on the โSummer of โ23 Tour.โ The first show was on June 3rd in Barcelona, and afterwards stops throughout Europe to the United States, ending on September 29th in Washington D.C. Notable venues include Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Hollywood Bowl. Rogers will also perform at several music festivals, including Lollapalooza.
Touring with Del Water Gap, Soccer Mommy and Alvvays, each leg of the tour provides an alternative indie vibe to complement Rogersโ sound.
Rogers has a contagious energy, gleefully moving her body around the stage during the upbeat songs, and standing her ground with her acoustic guitar during the more emotional ones.

Jonas Brothers
With a nearly 20-year career, pop rock band Jonas Brothers are going on a 35-date North American tour. The โFive Albums. One Night,โ tour supports their most recent collaboration, โThe Album,โ along with four of their previous and immensely popular albums.
After kicking off on August 12th at Yankee Stadium in Bronx, New York, the group will also be stopping at Chicagoโs Wrigley Field, Los Angelesโ Dodger Stadium, and will even have one date in Toronto, at the Rogers Centre. The final show will be on October 14th, in Miami, Florida at the Kaseya Center.
The Jonas Brothers have sold out arenas around the world, and their success is only growing. Whether you were an OG Jonas Brothers fan or not, their current mainstream success is a tell-tale sign of the talent the three brothers share.
Their lively energy and strong vocals create a fun and entertaining experience that would surely turn anyone into a fan.

Pearl Jam
90s rock band Pearl Jam is embarking on a brief tour, the โ2023 North American Tour,โ with opening act Inhaler. The tour gets its start on August 31st at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, and comes to a close on September 19th at Moody Center in Austin, Texas.
With only nine dates, the tour would be easy to miss, but that would be a mistake. One of the most influential bands of the 90s, Pearl Jam has a long list of successes and experience, and doesnโt need to rely on theatrics to put on a good show. The blaring of their instruments and vocals erupt through the venues they play, bringing the audience into an atmosphere of energy and chaos.

Mรฅneskin
Eccentric Italian glam rock band Mรฅneskin will be going on their โRush! World Tour,โ starting on September 21st at Madison Square Garden in New York City, and will be ending their brief stint on October 15th in Vancouver, Canada at the UBC Thunderbird Arena.
Commonly adorned in black leather and fishnets, the foursome have a seductively captivating energy, their rock and roll vibe enchanting audiences all around.

Father John Misty and The Head and the Heart
Father John Misty, born Joshua Michael Tillman, is an indie-folk-rock musician, singer-songwriter, and record producer. He will be co-headlining shows this summer and fall with The Head and the Heart, an indie alternative folk band, with opener Miya Folick.
The tour will take the musicians through parts of the United States, as well as spending one night in Vancouver, Canada at the PNE Amphitheatre, Opening in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 4th, and closing in Madison, Wisconsin on August 22nd, the tour is very brief but is one you wonโt want to miss.
With a sound similar to that of Nick Drake, Neil Young, and Will Oldham, Father John Misty creates a tone reflective of past musicians while also incorporating his own pop folk and sometimes psychedelic sound.
Father John Mistyโs sets are simplistic, suiting his energy and instrumentals. He glides around the stage when heโs not stationed with his acoustic guitar.
The Head and the Heart discuss difficult topics such as love and heartache, while also delivering catchy upbeat melodies that sometimes stray from their vintage sound.
If youโre looking for a folky modestly produced show, Father John Misty and The Head and the Heart are the perfect artists to see.

The Smashing Pumpkins
Fronted by alt-rock icon Billy Corgan, The Smashing Pumpkins are going on โThe World is a Vampire Tour,โ a 26-date trek around the United States. The tour kicks off on July 28th at The Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, Nevada, and ends September 9th at the Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana.
โThe World is a Vampire Tour,โ is in support of ATUM: A Rock Opera in Three Acts, The Smashing Pumpkins 12th studio album. It was released in three parts, the first in November of 2022, the second in January of 2023, and the third in May of 2023. Atum is a sequel to Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, and Machina/Machine of God.
Alternating openers Interpol, Stone Temple Pilots, and Rival Sons, the shows are bound to be energetic and rock-heavy, the bands fervor compelling their audience.

Thundercat
American bassist, singer-songwriter, and producer Thundercat will kick off his โIn Yo Girlโs City Tour” on August 5th at the Newport Jazz Festival in Rhode Island. He will then travel across the United States before heading to Brazil and Chile, ending his tour on November 15th in Santiago, Chile at Teatro Coliseo.
โIt is What it is” was released in 2020 and is Thundercat’s most recent album, also winning Best Progressive R&B Album at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.
Though oftentimes stationed with his guitar, Thundercat still manages to beam with a certain kind of vitality that attracts and engages audiences.

Janet Jackson
Dance-pop icon Janet Jackson has returned to live performing for the first time since 2019 for her 10th tour, โTogether Again.โ Jacksonโs opening night was in Hollywood, California at Hard Rock Live on April 14th, and will travel through the United States and Canada leading up to her last show on October 27th at The Venue at Thunder Valley in Lincoln, California. American rapper Ludacris is the feature opener of โTogether Again.โ
Jacksonโs most recent albums are โdeluxeโ editions of previous ones, including the 2023 release of โDiscipline,โ previously released in 2008, and the 2022 release of โThe Velvet Rope,โ previously released in 1997.
Known for her elaborate performances and sometimes provocative energy, Jackson is a natural performer, and is the perfect act to see if youโre looking for an entertaining revival.
