Well, you know what they say; work hard, play harder. And if you’re well into adulthood, we have just the thing for your tired, uninspired, or even dead bedrooms.
Games!
Not just any games, but sex-based board games to aid those bored approaches. Because foreplay needs to start well before the undressing stage.
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
Anyway, we’ve compiled five of the steamiest and most available sex-based board games for you for those special nights. Don’t worry, some of them are suitable for more than two players, you know, depending on your setup. Also, it goes without saying, hide them from the kids, unless you want awkward conversations about the ‘snakes and ladders’.
Monogamy
We’re starting off strong here with a bit of creatively mild copyright infringement. Joking, of course. Monogamy is its own thing. This one is only for two players, in case you were hoping for something rebellious.
It’s a lot simpler than Monopoly. You just roll the dice and see where the numbers land you, then you read the cards and perform what it says. At least that’s the gist. It’s not just sexual stuff either, some of them are more focused on strengthening a couple’s bond.
In fact, Monogamy even proudly flaunts its achievement, having helped improve the relationship of two million couples. If anything, it’s cheaper than couple’s therapy, so there.
Lovehoney Oh! Fantastic Foreplay Board Game
Again with the couples for this one. The Lovehoney Oh! Adult Board Game for Couples is something both of you should play if you want to discover something new or fresh about each other. That could range from new preferences or kinks. The board game even thoughtfully comes with some ready paraphernalia like blindfolds and ticklers.
How it plays is also simple enough and works similarly to the Monogamy board game above. You’re both at the mercy of the die and the cards. The board is also circular and keeps getting more physical or more intimate as it gets closer to the center which should serve as the cue for, well, whatever you want the winner to get.
This one is less about relationship bonding and more about creative ways to discover sexual compatibility. Okay fine, that’s also bonding but it’s more straightforward… and sweatier.
Sex! A Romantic Board Game
Speaking of straightforward, here’s the aptly named Sex! A Romantic Board Game. That packaging needs to be discreet or the delivery guy might give you some weird looks. Regardless, this one is simple.
You roll the dice and see where you land on the roulette and it will pick the proceedings for you. Perfect for if either of you is bored of the regular vanilla stuff. At least this time, there’s no blaming who initiated what.
It’s not clear how many players these are, but with the number of tokens and the illustrations on the cards, it appears to be optimized for a couple. Nothing is stopping you though from adding more couples and their own tokens if you so desire.
Sexopoly Board Game
Want even more players for whatever reason? Here’s something more flexible. Sexopoly or Sexopoly Game has room for up to eight people and they don’t even need to be couples or in a relationship. Even a group of friends can partake.
It works similarly to the Monopoly game but there’s a rather hot and bothersome “truth or dare” section here with some risque challenges. Take note that these are adventurous activities and are usually something best enjoyed by open-minded people, with some stuff you might consider as weirdly sexual.
That isn’t to say you can’t bend the rules, this isn’t Monopoly, after all.
Couplicious Sex Game
Last but not least is another sex-based board game for up to eight players. You can go with two if you’re just a couple, of course. Couplicious is a racy take on the old truth or dare game with the exciting twist of strip poker.
It starts off with the mild stuff and ends with all of the players in a nudist party where you have to obey whatever the cards say. This has over 200 cards, by the way, so that’s a lot of replay value. There are even some just-teasing cards to punish the unlucky ones. But even, everyone’s a winner in this game.
